Bulldog Women's Golf To Take Part In GLIAC Championships This Weekend

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team will compete in the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships Friday thru Sunday (April 25-27) in New Albany, Ohio.

The GLIAC Championship is being held at the Winding Hollow Golf Club in New Albany and being hosted by Ohio Dominican University.

A 54-hole format for the tournament will take place with 18 holes each day.
Ashland, Ferris State, Findlay, Grand Valley State, Lake Superior State, Malone, Northwood, Ohio Dominican, Tiffin and Walsh will compete in the event.

Tee times for all three days of the tournament will get underway each day at 8 a.m. (ET).

This spring, the Bulldogs have finished in fourth place or higher in all six of their tournaments, including a first-place finish in the Southwest Minnesota State Spring Invitational held in Daytona Beach (Fla.) along with a runner-up effort at the Bellarmine (Ky.) Invitational.

Following the GLIAC Championships, official participants for the NCAA Division II Championships will be announced via ncaa.com next week with the NCAA-II East Regional set for May 4-6 in Indianapolis, Ind.
