FSU Women's Tennis Storms Past Aquinas In Non-League Victory
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team wrapped up a three-match homestand by remaining unbeaten this campaign as the Bulldogs topped Aquinas 9-0 in a shutout victory on Tuesday (Sept. 9) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.
The Bulldogs dominated the three doubles matches, winning by scores of 8-1, 8-2 and 8-0 at each of the three flights.
In singles action, FSU claimed straight-set wins at all six flights with the closest score by a 6-1, 6-3 decision.
A total of eight different Bulldogs saw action in the win and four were double winners on the day.
Ferris State improved to 3-0 overall this season with the win over the Saints and will next resume Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action this Sunday, Sept. 14, on the road at Saginaw Valley State. Match time is set for 12 p.m. (ET).
