Ferris State Women's Tennis Back To Winnings Ways With Decisive Home Victory
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team got back to its winning ways as the Bulldogs charged past Hillsdale 7-2 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Sunday (Sept. 20) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.
The host Bulldogs swept the three doubles flights and won four of six singles positions en route to the league home triumph.
With the win, the Bulldogs snapped a two-match skid and improved to 4-2 overall and in the GLIAC.
A total of seven FSU athletes took part in the match with five earning multiple victories in the league encounter.
Ferris State next will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 3, when the Bulldogs host Findlay in a 10 a.m. (ET) league home match as their six-match homestand continues in Big Rapids.
