Bulldog Women's Tennis Posts Fourth-Straight 5-4 Victory

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team pulled out its fourth consecutive nailbiter in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play as the Bulldogs posted a 5-4 victory over the Findlay Oilers on Saturday (Oct. 8) in Findlay, Ohio.

The win was FSU's fourth-straight by a 5-4 score in league action as FSU improved to 5-2 overall and in the conference this campaign.

The Oilers took a 2-1 lead following doubles play with wins at the first and second positions in the lineup. FSU's lone doubles victory came at the third spot.

In singles competition, the Oilers captured the top two flights, but FSU responded by winning the bottom four positions to claim the match victory.

Ferris State will be back in action as the Bulldogs wrap up their weekend trip to Ohio against Tiffin on Sunday (Oct. 9) starting at 10 a.m. (ET).
