Women's Tennis Earns Split In Wednesday and Thursday Action In Florida
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis squad earned a split on Wednesday and Thursday (March 11-12) in non-conference action in Florida.
The Bulldogs topped regional foe Rockhurst (Mo.) by a 5-2 score late Wednesday night before falling to nationally sixth-ranked Saint Leo (Fla.) on Thursday.
Wednesday night's match was played at the USTA National Campus.
With the split, the Bulldogs are now 11-9 overall to date this year.
Ferris State wraps up its trip to Florida against Eckerd on Friday (March 13) with match time set for 2 p.m. (ET) in the Sunshine State.
