FSU Athletes Take Part In Dr. Keeler Invite

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams sent selected student-athletes to the annual Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central College (Ill.) this past weekend (May 13-14) in Naperville, Ill.

The meet served as a last chance event for schools to qualify individuals for the national championships and the meet featured hundreds of student-athletes from a wide range of institutions.

Sophomore Justin Price came in fourth overall of 51 runners in the 400 meters (48.41) for the FSU men.  He also took 13th place in the 200 meters (22.29).

Senior Mike Mangieri placed 11th overall of 45 finishers in the men's 10,000 meters as he clocked 30:56.43 in the event.

Senior Brian Reynolds took 33rd place in the 10,000 meters (32:31.73).

Freshman Alyssa Osika placed 13th overall in the 800 meters (2:13.88) for the Bulldog women.

The meet was held at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
