Ferris State Track & Field/CC Tryout Date Set

Meeting: September 1, 2011 @ 11 a.m.
Location: Top Taggart Field

Tryout/time trial: September 23, 2011 @ 3 p.m.
Location: Top Taggart Field

Requirements:

Must be registered with the NCAA eligibility center and have a 10 digit ID number
Freshmen must be a full qualifier with NCAA eligibility center, current Ferris students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and averaged 12 credit hours passed per semester

With the large number of students interested in becoming a member of the Ferris State University Track and Field/Cross Country teams, a time trial/testing session will be held for anyone interested in being on the team during the 2011-12 season. Roster decisions will be based on the time trial/testing session, academics and the number of roster spots available in each event area. At this time, it is open for athletes in throwing events along with events 200 meters and up.

This is the only open tryout that will be offered and the roster will be final following the time trial/testing session. All interested participants must attend the meeting and the tryout to be considered for a roster spot.

Anyone planning to tryout should please email Coach Steve Picucci ASAP in order to submit the required information and to sign up for a fall physical.
