Ferris State To Offer Fan Bus To NCAA Regional Volleyball Match Thursday

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University Athletics Department has announced plans for a fan bus trip to Allendale on Thursday (Nov. 20) to follow the Bulldog volleyball team in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament.

Ferris State will offer a FREE bus ride for FSU fans interested in traveling to the Grand Valley State Fieldhouse Arena for Thursday's regional quarerfinal match between the second-seeded Bulldogs and seventh-seeded Lewis (Ill.).

Thursday's quarterfinal will begin at 5 p.m. (ET) with the bus leaving the west side of the Ewigleben Sports Complex near the ticket office entrance two hours prior to match time at 3 p.m. (ET).

With the free ride, the cost for Ferris State students and adults would only be the match ticket. Tickets will be sold at the door in Allendale and will be $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under 12 years of age or $3 for college students of the competing teams with a valid ID card. The prices are based per session and no all-tourney passes will be available.

All fans interested in the bus ride should sign up as soon as possible as space is limited. Reservations can be made thru the FSU Athletics Ticket Office located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex or by calling (231) 591-2888.  The ticket office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m.

Ferris State will be making its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament bid and has advanced to at least the regional semifinals each of the last three seasons. FSU's upcoming regional appearance will represent the program's 19th all-time national tournament bid and the Bulldogs are the defending NCAA Midwest Regional Champions.
