Bio
2016 (RS Freshman): Played in 20 sets over 11 matches, helped Bulldogs to their third consecutive GLIAC Regular Season and Tournament Championship and second consecutive NCAA Regional Final appearance…had four kills and seven digs…added a block…had a season best two kills at Davenport on 9/24.
2015 (Freshman): Redshirted in 2015, helped Bulldogs to 2015 GLIAC regular season and tournament championships, as well as an NCAA Tournament Regional Final appearance.
Before Ferris State: Rosman earned all-state honors for the fourth-straight year as a senior while helping lead Morley-Stanwood High School to the program's fourth-straight conference title and third district crown in four years. The two-time first team all-state pick also was a four-time all-conference and all-region honoree. She twice served as team captain and earned team Most Valuable Player Award accolades for the third year in a row in 2014 while being chosen as a Michigan Miss Volleyball Top 10 finalist. Her final year, she compiled 606 kills, 566 digs and 55 total blocks.
Rosman competed at several positions under head coach Robin Kozuch during her prep career, including outside and right-side hitter along with defensive specialist. The Stanwood native also played club level volleyball for the Inside Out Program under Rick Ryske and helped lead the Mohawks to a state title in 2011. The daughter of Daniel and Nancy Rosman, Kayla is a public relations major at FSU and is the younger sister of former Ferris State football player Zachary Rosman.
