Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's volleyball program is providing an opportunity for kids to learn the basics of volleyball through youth training clinics which will be held on Sundays from January 6-27 at FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids, Mich.

The winter youth clinics will be held for two age divisions - Mini Volley (K-5th grades), and Youth Volleyball (6th-8th grades). The Mini Volley sessions will be held from 3-4 p.m. (EST) followed by the Youth Volleyball session from 4-5:30 p.m. (EST). Both sessions each Sunday will take place in the Volleyball Arena on the lower level of the Ewigleben Sports Complex on the Ferris State campus.

The cost is $70 per person for the Mini Volley group and $90 for the Youth Volleyball group. The youth training clinics will feature instruction by the FSU women's volleyball coaches along with current and former Bulldog volleyball players.

The FSU volleyball youth training clinics are designed to provide participants with age appropriate skill and motor development along with opportunities to use those skills in fun-play situations.

Registration is limited for each age division and an emergency authorization and waiver form must be completed prior to participation. The forms are contained within the FSU Volleyball Youth Training Clinics brochure.
