Ferris State Athletics Announces Fan COVID-19 Protocols In Advance Of First Home Events This Week

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University Athletics has announced fan protocols in response to COVID-19 in advance of this weekend's first Bulldog Athletics events of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Bulldogs will host three home events on Thursday (Sept. 2) with women's soccer hosting Findlay at 1 p.m. (ET) followed by volleyball against Tiffin at 5 p.m. (ET) and concluding with the season opener for the Bulldog football squad versus Findlay at 7:30 p.m. (ET). In addition, FSU will also host the annual Ferris State Volleyball Invitational involving nine schools on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 3-4) at the Ewigleben Sports Complex.

Per the current campus policy, masks will be required in all confined indoor spaces and events on campus at this time, including home volleyball matches, inside restroom facilities and at the Wheeler Pavilion, which includes both the President's Box Suite and the press box. If President's Box guests prefer not to wear a mask, space will be provided for them outside in the stands, but masks will be required to enter the facility.

Additionally, masks are also strongly encouraged for all fans in attendance at any and all outdoor events until further notice.

Ticket information for all weekend events can be found online at FerrisStateBulldogs.com. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for Thursday night's home football opener, both to avoid ticket lines and to ensure a touchless and electronic ticket experience. Tickets can be purchased directly at FerrisStateBulldogs.com/Tickets.

The Bulldogs will continue to follow national, local and campus guidance regarding all COVID-19 protocols.
