Big Rapids, Mich. - The Bulldog Sports Network, in conjunction with local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and Ferris State Television, has announced this Saturday's (April 17) Ferris State Football Crimson & Gold Spring Game will be carried live both locally and around the world.

Sunny 97.3 FM and FerrisStateBulldogs.com will provide a live broadcast of the game beginning with pregame coverage at 11:30 a.m. (ET) from the Wheeler Pavilion at Top Taggart Field. The Bulldog Football play-by-play tandem of Rob Bentley and Sandy Gholston will call all the action with kickoff set for 12 p.m. (ET).

Along with the live radio coverage and audio broadcast, a FREE TV video feed will also be provided thru FSU's multimedia portal at FerrisStateBulldogs.com in conjunction with Ferris State Television and FSU's Television & Digital Media Production (TDMP) program. Fans inside the stadium will also hear the live play-by-play call of the game over the public address system. In addition, fans can also follow live scoring updates via @FerrisFootball on twitter.

The broadcast will also be carried live on the big screens at the alumni owned and operated Buffalo Wild Wings location on Perry Street in Big Rapids.

The Crimson & Gold Spring Game will wrap up FSU's official spring practice drills under head coach Tony Annese. Saturday's contest will also provide fans with an opportunity to watch the Bulldogs for the first time in nearly 16 months since the 2019 NCAA D2 National Semifinals in a game-like situation under Coach Annese and his staff. The spring game will feature a modified scoring and timing format.

Admission to the contest will be free with a limited capacity based on the current Michigan COVID-19 restrictions. Gates will open one hour prior to kickoff at 11 a.m. and fans will be asked to provide contact information for contact tracing in the event it is needed. The stadium restrooms will be open, however no concessions will be sold and due to the recent surge of positive cases in Michigan, tailgate gatherings on campus are strongly discouraged and should be limited to immediate families only.

In addition to allowing limited family and friends of the Bulldogs' current student-athletes, there will be limited social interaction and all fans must wear masks and maintain appropriate social distancing outside of their own households.

The Bulldogs have won each of the last two GLIAC Championships in unbeaten fashion and reached the national quarterfinals four consecutive years, which is the longest streak in the country. Over the past two seasons of action, not counting the COVID-19 impacted 2020 season, in 2018 and 2019, the Bulldogs have compiled a 27-2 mark. FSU ranks as the country's winningest program over the past six full seasons in NCAA Division II football.

Over the last six full seasons at Ferris State, the Bulldogs have compiled a 72-9 overall record and claimed four conference championships, posted four unbeaten regular-seasons, captured three regional titles and reached the national quarterfinals four times under Annese. Ferris State has also accumulated three Harlon Hill National Player of the Year trophies, twice had a student-athlete tabbed as the nation's National Scholar-Athlete of the Year and won 12 postseason games in addition to an appearance in the 2018 National Championship game. The Bulldogs' six-straight playoff appearances is the second-longest longest streak in the nation.

Ferris State also holds the GLIAC's best mark and the best overall record of all 21 collegiate programs in Michigan at 87-16 overall since the arrival of Annese in 2012.
