The 6-1 wing tallied 14.3 points per game last season for head coach Greg McMath at Class A state runner-up Saginaw Arthur Hill and continues a pipeline to FSU that also includes current freshman wing De'quavion Johnson along with Bulldog alum and Arthur Hill assistant coach Jason Holder.

Burton was an all-conference choice last season while helping Arthur Hill to a 24-5 overall record and was ranked 28th overall in the state of Michigan by Inside Prep Sports. The 175-pound Burton competed on the AAU level for the Greenwood Elite and has totaled a career-high 22 points in a contest. He's also served as the quarterback of his high school football team and holds a GPA of better than a 3.0 on the prep level.
