Ferris State Home Basketball Doubleheader Saturday Moved To Evening Start Times

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University has announced the starting times have changed for this Saturday's (Dec. 7) home men's and women's basketball Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader against the Ashland Eagles at FSU's Jim Wink Arena.

Due to the Bulldogs' NCAA Division II National Football Quarterfinal home game against Northwest Missouri State, which kicks off at 1 p.m. (ET), the men's basketball showdown against the Eagles will now begin at 5:30 p.m. (ET) with the women's contest to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m. (ET).

The change in starting times to an evening twinbill will allow Bulldog fans to catch all three contests the same day on the FSU campus.

Prior to Saturday's tilt, the Bulldogs first open GLIAC play at home against Wayne State on Thursday (Dec. 5) night with the men's game also beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the women's game.

The Bulldog men's basketball squad is currently ranked among the nation's top 25 teams and off to a 10-1 start overall while the FSU women's team is currently 5-1 overall entering this week's action. Both the Ashland men's and women's teams are also found in the nation's top 25 heading into the week as the Eagles' men's (6-0) and women's (5-0) teams are both unbeaten to date.
