Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's basketball squad's Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) doubleheader at Saginaw Valley State has been rescheduled and will be played today (Sunday, Jan. 12).
The league twinbill, originally slated for Saturday before being postponed due to inclement weather and the closure of the SVSU campus, will tipoff on Sunday with the women's game at 4 p.m. (ET) followed by the men's contest at 6 p.m. (ET) inside O'Neill Arena in University Center.
Both games will be carried live by flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM and the Bulldog Sports Network with online coverage at FerrisStateBulldogs.com starting at 3:30 p.m.
The Bulldog teams are coming off a league road sweep at Northwood on Thursday night. The nationally 11th-ranked men's squad is 16-2 overall and tied for first place in the GLIAC at 5-1 in league action while the Bulldog women's team is 9-5 on the year and 3-3 in conference play after back-to-back league road wins.
