Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's basketball program had three student-athletes receive All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honors for the 2019-20 campaign as the league unveiled its postseason award recipients on Friday evening.

FSU junior guard Walt Kelser (Southfield) was tabbed to the All-GLIAC First Team with senior guard D'angelo Hughes (Springfield, Ill.) and junior forward Dorian Aluyi (Chicago) both chosen to the second-team squad.

The postseason awards were determined in voting by the league's member head coaches.

This year, Kelser has averaged a team-high 17.6 points per game for the Bulldogs as the squad's leading scorer and one of the top point producers in the conference. As the squad's point guard, Hughes has led the attack and distributed 4.4 assists per game along with 9.1 points an outing. Finally, Aluyi has made the most of his first campaign in a Bulldog uniform, totaling 11.8 points and a team-best 6.2 rebounds a game.

Together, the trio led the Bulldogs to both the GLIAC North Division and outright conference championships. FSU won its third league title in the last four years and currently holds a 27-6 overall mark to date.

Ferris State, which was ranked second in this past week's NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Rankings, now awaits the official NCAA Division II Selection Show, which takes place on Sunday (March 8) night at 10:30 p.m. (ET) at NCAA.com. The Bulldogs are expected to receive the program's 14th national tournament berth and fifth in the past six years.
