Ferris State Men's Basketball Road Contest At Davenport On Saturday Postponed
Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University's scheduled men's basketball road contest at Davenport slated for Saturday (Jan. 15) has been postponed and will not be played due to COVID-19 concerns.
The two schools were slated to square off in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Saturday afternoon the DU campus in Caledonia. However, due to COVID-19 issues impacting the Panthers' program, Davenport is unable to play. The conference contest will be rescheduled for a future date.
Data privacy precludes further comment on the issue and any additional updates or adjustments to the schedule will be made at a later time.
While the men's game has been called off, the women's contest will take place as scheduled on Saturday at Davenport with tipoff set for 1 p.m. (ET).
Following Saturday's women's tilt, both Ferris State teams are next scheduled to host Lake Superior State at home on Thursday (Jan. 20) with the women's game set for a 5:30 p.m. (ET) start followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m. (ET).

The Bulldog men's basketball squad is coming off an impressive 83-76 road win at rival Grand Valley State on Thursday (Jan. 13) night and is the league's only remaining unbeaten team at 7-0 in conference play. FSU is currently 12-3 overall this campaign and ranked 15th in the Division II Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA) National Rankings.
