High School/Junior: Played for Simon Watson and Ferris State hockey alum Justin DeMartino of the Topeka Pilots in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). Played with fellow incoming freshmen Dallas Tulik and Max Finner with the Pilots. Finished with three goals and 17 assists for 20 points last season. Saw the ice for 23 games with the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League in 2016-17 before joining Topeka later that season. Captained the Pilots last season, played in 137 contests for the Pilots over two and half seasons, generating 37 points. Played his youth hockey for the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies where he was a teammate of Coale Norris.
