Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's ice hockey team has announced a buy one get one free ticket offer for Saturday (Dec. 14) vs. Alabama Huntsville for the annual Salvation Army Teddy Bear Toss game, set for 6:07 pm ET inside Ewigleben Ice Arena.
The offer is only valid while supplies last. Fans are strongly encouraged to buy well in-advance to take advantage of the limited offer. Fans can buy a $13 ticket and get one free with this offer. The offer is now available via StarTickets.com, or by visiting the Ice Arena Box office from Monday-Friday, between 9 am and 5 pm. Fans can call the box office at 231-591-2888.
Saturday, Dec. 14 is also Teddy Bear Toss night presented by Salvation Army. Fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear to toss onto the ice following an announcement from Ferris State's public address annoucer.
The teddy bears will be collected by Salvation Army, who will distribute to children in need this holiday season.
Ferris State is returning from a 2-1-1 trip to Alaska that spanned 12 days, and have a bye week this coming weekend (Dec. 6-7). Ferris State has picked up points in four of their last six Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) games as they prepare to take on the Alabama Huntsville Chargers on Friday and Saturday (Dec. 13-14) in Big Rapids.
Puck drops for Ferris State's weekend slate with the Chargers are set for 7:07 pm ET Friday and 6:07 pm ET Saturday on Dec. 13-14.
