FERRIS STATE VS. ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE: ALL-TIME HISTORY

Ferris State and Alabama Huntsville are set to meet for the 28th and 29th times in series history, with Ferris State holding a 17-9-1 all-time edge over the Chargers. The last ten games however have been a deadheat at 5-5-0. The Chargers have managed to be a thorn in Ferris State's side over the last few seasons, including winning on the night before Ferris State's senior night to put the Bulldogs on the brink of missing the WCHA playoffs. Eventually, the Chargers motored down to Bowling Green and picked up a win to get in the following weekend leaving the Bulldogs out of the postseason. In the 5-2 victory to end the season series in 2018-19, Coale Norris picked up three points, all assists. In the season series opener in Huntsville, the teams traded goals until the Chargers eventually managed back-to-back tallies to go up 5-4. Ferris State tied the game up and Dominic Lutz untied it with an overtime game-winning goal for his second career two-goal game and a 6-5 overtime win.
