Bio

2020-21 (Sophomore): Suited up for 10 contests as a sophomore and had two assists…had five shots on goal…tied for team-lead in plus-minus.

2019-20: (Freshman): Dressed in 30 games registering one goal for the Bulldogs during his freshman campaign…fired 29 shots on goal…scored first collegiate goal on Feb. 29 vs. Lake Superior State at 12:14 of the first period…took just four penalties for eight minutes.

High School/Junior: Played his junior hockey for Mike Reagan of the Flin Flon Bombers in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). Was traded to the Bombers for the final 21 games of the regular season and nine games of the playoffs. Finished the 2018-19 season with 22 goals and 44 assists for 66 points in 54 SJHL games between Weyburn and Flin Flon. Was better than a point per game with both teams. Led Flin Flon in playoff point scoring with 11 points in nine games. Played 58 games with Weyburn in 2017-18, scoring 60 points in 58 games. Was SJHL Co-Rookie of the Year in 2017-18 Also played two games with the Winkler Flyers in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) in 2016-17. Played his youth hockey for Pembina Valley. Had 236 points in Canadian/American Midget Hockey in 81 games from 2014-2016.

Personal: The son of Lee and Cindy Kowalski…born June 15, 1999…plays forward, shoots left…native of Morden, Manitoba…played Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf and Badminton in High School for the Morden High School Thunder…helped raise $17,000 for the Humboldt Broncos after the tragic bus accident in 2018 that claimed the lives of 16 and injured 13…plans to major in Business.
