Bulldogs Roll Past Findlay In GLIAC Match

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team won its second match in as many days as the Bulldogs topped Findlay by a 9-0 score in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) action on Saturday (March 26) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.

With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 9-4 overall and 4-1 in league play.  Previously, FSU beat Tiffin by a 9-0 count to open a three-match weekend homestand on Friday (March 25) afternoon.

Ferris State took the three doubles flights by scores of 8-1, 8-2 and 8-2 while capturing all six singles positions in straight-sets.

Findlay dropped to 4-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference with the setback.

Ferris State wraps up its weekend home slate by hosting West Michigan rival Grand Valley State on Sunday (March 27) morning in a key league home contest beginning at 10 a.m. (ET).

Sunday's match against the Lakers is FSU's final scheduled home contest of the 2011 campaign in Big Rapids.
