Ferris State Men's Tennis Wins For Fourth Time In Last Five Outings

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team won for the fourth time in its last five outings as the Bulldogs recorded an 8-1 win over Walsh in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Friday (March 28) afternoon at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.

The Bulldogs swept the doubles round and took five of the six singles spots in moving to 6-12 overall and 5-2 in GLIAC play. It was the second victory in as many days at home for the Bulldogs, who are midst a three-match league homestand this week.

Ferris State won the three doubles flights in decisive fashion with the closest score coming by an 8-4 count at the number three flight. In singles competition, FSU picked up three of its five wins in straight-sets along with a threeset triumph at the third singles position. The lone win for Walsh came at number two doubles.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday (March 29) as they wrap up their three-match league homestand this week versus Malone beginning at 11 a.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.
