Ferris State Falls To NCAA-I Western Michigan In Men's Tennis Action

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis squad took on NCAA Division I Western Michigan on Wednesday (March 18) in Kalamazoo, but fell short by a 7-0 count versus the Broncos in non-league action.

The host Broncos won the three doubles flights, which counted as a single point in the team score per NCAA-I regulations. WMU then swept the Bulldogs in all six singles positions by taking straight-set wins at all six positions in the lineup.

Ferris State fell to 7-5 overall with the setback, which represented the Bulldogs' last non-conference outing prior to resuming conference play this weekend.

The Bulldogs will host Findlay on Saturday (March 21) in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center with match time set for 11 a.m. (ET).

FSU then hosts Tiffin on Sunday (March 22) in a 10 a.m. (ET) league tilt in Big Rapids.
