Bulldogs Stay Unbeaten In GLIAC Play With Saturday Home Win Over Findlay

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis team stayed unbeaten in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play as the Bulldogs opened up a two-match weekend league homestand with a decisive 7-2 triumph over visiting Findlay on Saturday (March 21) afternoon at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.

The Bulldogs improved to 8-5 overall and 2-0 in GLIAC play by beating the Oilers in their second league match of the year.

Ferris State jumped out to a 2-1 lead following the doubles round after picking up wins at the second and third flights in the lineup before eventually capturing five of the six singles positions to earn the victory.

The lone wins for the Oilers on the day came at the number one flight in both singles and doubles competition. Ferris State won the two thru six singles spots all in straight-sets.

FSU concludes its weekend homestand by hosting Tiffin on Sunday (March 22) beginning at 10 a.m. (ET) in Big Rapids. The Bulldogs are currently ranked fifth in the current Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Midwest Regional Rankings.
