Ferris State Men's Tennis Dominates Competition At Bulldog Invitational

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis squad dominated the competition as the Bulldogs wrapped up action in their own Bulldog Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 26) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The two-day invitational included competitors from four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) schools in FSU, Lake Superior State, Hillsdale and Michigan Tech.

In the two days of action, a majority of the competitors played both three rounds of singles and doubles competition versus other schools.

Ferris State posted a strong finish in day two competition on Saturday by winning nearly every singles match in which a FSU player competed. The Bulldogs posted a 11-1 doubles mark against outside competition on Friday during first day play.

Several matches also took place that matched up two Bulldog players or involved a FSU player teaming up with a competitor from another school.

The invitational event wrapped up the fall campaign for the men's tennis squad, which is the defending GLIAC Champion.
