Ferris State Wraps Up Spring Trip With Win Over Methodist In Men's Tennis

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis squad wrapped up its annual spring trip to Florida with a 6-3 win over Methodist on Thursday (March 10) in Tampa, Fla.

The Bulldogs picked up their ninth victory of the year, moving to 9-3 overall, by beating Methodist in the neutral site encounter.

In doubles action, Ferris State took the top two flights, but Methodist captured three doubles and trailed only 2-1 heading into singles action.

However, in the singles round, the Bulldogs picked up wins at the two, three, five and six spots to notch the triumph.

Ferris State will next open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on the road at Findlay on March 19 starting at 10 a.m. (ET) in Findlay, Ohio.
