Men's Tennis Comes Up Short In Tight Battle Against Nation's #9 Indianapolis

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's tennis squad fought hard, but fell short against nationally #9-ranked Indianapolis by a 6-1 score on Friday (Feb. 22) afternoon at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The visiting Greyhounds claimed the three doubles flights to build the early lead and won five of the six singles flights en route to the finish.

The Bulldogs' Pablo Munoz Baroja got a three-set win at third singles to account for the Bulldogs' lone point against one of the top teams in the country in regional action. Several of the contests, though, were tightly-contested battles.

Ferris State will continue regional action at home on Saturday (Feb. 23) as the Bulldogs host the Tiffin Dragons at 2:30 p.m. (ET) in Big Rapids.
