Ferris State Men's and Women's Golf and Tennis Teams All Featured In Latest NCAA Regional Rankings

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's golf teams along with both the Bulldog men's and women's tennis teams are all included in the latest NCAA Division II Regional Rankings as announced this week.

Both the Bulldog men's and women's tennis teams are listed as teams "under consideration" for NCAA postseason play. The NCAA did not rank teams regionally in tennis, but FSU is one of seven schools on the men's side and six on the women's end as listed under consideration for the postseason at the current time in the Midwest Region.

Meanwhile, the Bulldog men's golf team was featured as number eight in the Midwest Region in the most updated NCAA listing of 11 schools ranked. The women's team sat in the 10th position in the regional poll.

The Division II men's golf regional field will be announced on Friday, April 23, at 6 p.m. (ET) via press release at NCAA.com with the women's field announced on Monday, April 26. 

In tennis, the NCAA will have a live video stream of the postseason announcement on Tuesday, May 4, with the men's show airing at 8 p.m. (ET) at NCAA.com followed by the women's show at 8:30 p.m. the same night.

The Bulldog Tennis teams are in action this weekend in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, taking on Lake Superior State on Friday (April 16) and Michigan Tech on Saturday (April 17). The GLIAC Championships are April 23-25 in Midland.

Both the Bulldog men's and women's golf teams open action on Friday (April 16) at the three-day GLIAC Championships in Augusta, Mich.
