Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University softball team had another solid performance on Saturday (March 14) as FSU earned a non-league split at The Spring Games held at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.
For the second day in a row, the Bulldogs won one and lost one in action at the annual event as they continued an 18-game stretch of games over a 10-day span in the Sunshine State.
In game one on Saturday, Ferris State rallied back for a 5-3 triumph over Minnesota State-Moorhead before the Bulldogs fell to Minot State (N.D.) by a 6-0 count in the nightcap.
Ferris, which is currently 5-18 overall this season, will wrap up The Spring Games with a two-game set on Sunday (March 15). FSU faces Minnesota State-Moorhead for the second day in a row at 5 p.m. (ET) and will then play its final contest against Augustana (S.D.) beginning at 7 p.m.
