Ferris State Softball Announces Schedule Adjustments For Road Action This Week

Big Rapids, Mich. - Several Ferris State University softball contests slated for this week have been adjusted due to weather and other factors.

The Bulldogs were slated to play at Wayne State on Wednesday (April 21) afternoon, but the league doubleheader has now been moved to Tuesday, May 4, starting at 3:30 p.m. (ET) for the opening game and 5:30 p.m. (ET) for the nightcap in Detroit. The change is due to expected winter-type weather on Wednesday in the Motor City.

Meanwhile, this Saturday's scheduled league twin bill at Ashland has been pushed up a day in an effort to beat the weather and will now be played on Friday (April 23) with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. (ET) for game one and 5 p.m. (ET) for the finale in Ohio.

Additionally, the Bulldogs will also play a league doubleheader on the road at Saginaw Valley State this Sunday (April 25) and the two games have been pushed back an hour to 2 p.m. (ET) and 4 p.m. (ET) for games one and two, respectively, due to the potential of SVSU also hosting the GLIAC Men's Soccer Championship as the top seed the same day.
