Bulldog Softball Start Time On Friday Pushed Up To 1 PM To Finish Halted Game
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University softball squad opens weekend action at home on Friday (April 30) against Parkside at the FSU Softball Field.
The Bulldogs are slated to play an afternoon twin bill against the Rangers, but the start time has been moved up to a 1 p.m. (ET) start.
Prior to the scheduled league doubleheader, the two teams will finish a game that was halted between the two schools due to weather back on April 7 in Wisconsin. The two teams are currently tied in the game 6-6 with one out in the top of the seventh and the Bulldogs at the plate.
The postponed game will pickup from that point and continue to the finish before a brief break and the scheduled start of the league doubleheader on Friday afternoon.
Following Friday's action, the Bulldogs are also at home on Saturday (May 1), hosting Purdue Northwest in a two-game set at 1 p.m. (ET) as well. Saturday's game will be Senior Day with FSU slated to honor a trio of seniors as part of the afternoon action.
