
LIVE COVERAGE! FSU Softball NCAA Regional Games To Be Carried Live On Sunny 97.3 FM and Bulldog Sports Network
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Bulldog Sports Network and local flagship station Sunny 97.3 FM have announced plans to carry Ferris State University softball action this week from the NCAA Division II Tournament in University Center.
The Bulldogs will square off against Saginaw Valley State in the regional opener on Thursday (May 8) afternoon. Pregame coverage will begin at 1:15 p.m. (ET) with Rob Bentley calling the play-by-play action. First pitch is set for 1:30 p.m.
With a win on Thursday, the Bulldogs would advance to the winner's bracket on Friday (May 9) at 11 a.m. (ET). FSU would play the 1:30 p.m. (ET) contest again on Friday with a first-round setback in the double-elimination event. The final day of action is set for Saturday (May 10) in the four-team regional event.
Along with the local radio broadcast, an online audio stream will be available for all Ferris State contests at FerrisStateBulldogs.com.
Bulldog fans can also watch all regional contests live on a pay-per-view streaming basis via FloSports.
Ferris State will be making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013. FSU owns a 28-19 mark to date this campaign under third-year head coach Jake Schumann. The 28 wins to date this campaign are the program's most in a decade.
