Before Basketball: Will be in her first season as a member of the women's basketball squad in 2012-13 .. Has been a Bulldog volleyball player for the past three years, including a member of the 2012 squad.

2011: Appeared in 14 volleyball matches as a reserve . . . Saw action in a total of 21 different sets while helping the Bulldogs to a league championship and NCAA Tournament appearance . . . Netted five kills while also adding 18 digs, three service aces and one total block in a reserve role.

2010: Volleyball team's Coaches Award recipient . . . Appeared in five matches . . . Racked up season-best three kills and four digs against Ohio Dominican (10/31) in her final appearance of the campaign . . . Garnered three digs at Findlay (9/26) in a season-high three sets . . . Notched a kill and dig apiece versus Lake Erie (10/9) . . . Totaled 16 hit attempts at Findlay (9/26) while posting 11 chances against Ohio Dominican (10/31). 

High School: Earned O.K. (Ottawa-Kent) Red Conference honors as a senior at Grandville High . . . A 2010 graduate . . . Received all-region and all-area kudos in her 2009 senior season under head coach Kristian Mulder . . . Named one of 20 finalists for the 2009 Wendy's High School Heisman Award for hard work and dedication through outstanding achievements in athletics, academics, and community/school leadership . . . Attained all-area accolades as a junior in 2008 . . . Four-year varsity letterwinner in both volleyball, basketball, and softball . . . Named to the 2009-10 Grand Rapids Press' All-Area Dream Team while leading the conference in scoring with a 16.5 points per game average to go with 5.7 rebounds and 2.4 steals an outing . . . Garnered all-conference and all-area laurels in 2008-09 following her junior season . . . Three-year starter on Bulldogs' girls basketball team and was coached by Charlie DeRyke . . . Claimed Associated Press Michigan High School Class A All-State Special Mention recognition for the 2009-10 season . . . Recipient of basketball team's Most Valuable Player Award both as a sophomore (2007-08) and junior (2008-09) . . . Achieved 2009 all-state, all-region, and all-conference plaudits in softball . . .
