Prior to FSU: The 6-1 McInerney led Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central High School to the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class C State Championship in 2014 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. She had a standout contest in the state title game, finishing with 22 points, 23 rebounds and five blocked shots. As a senior, she averaged more than 14 points per game while topping the 1,000 career points mark and leading the Panthers to the Class C Final Four for a second-straight season. McInerney was a consensus All-State honoree.
