Big Rapids, Mich. - Senior guard Alexis Bush (Caledonia) of the Ferris State University women's basketball squad has earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) accolades for the 2018-19 campaign as the league unveiled its postseason award recipients on Friday evening.

Bush was chosen to the All-GLIAC Second Team in voting by the league's member head coaches and claimed all-conference recognition for the first time in her collegiate career.

As a senior this year, Bush led the Bulldogs by averaging 11.5 points per game as FSU registered its first winning campaign since the 2011-12 season and reached the GLIAC Tournament for the second-straight year under head coach Kendra Faustin. She helped lead FSU to the league tournament semifinals as a junior in 2017-18.

This season, the Bulldog senior tallied 15 double-figure scoring contests and totaled 20 points or more six times. She scored a personal career-high 310 total points and grabbed a career-best 109 rebounds while dishing out 79 assists and recording 27 steals.

The four-year letterwinner finished her Bulldog career with 872 total points in 111 collegiate games and knocked down 97 career three-pointers in a FSU uniform. She also shot 82% (149-182) from the free throw line in her career and finished with 317 rebounds, 292 assists and 82 steals overall.

Ferris State finished the 2018-19 season with a 14-13 overall record while winning three of its final four games.
