Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball program will hold its second annual golf outing on Monday, July 18, at FSU's Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids and registration is currently underway.

The event will give the Bulldogs' an opportunity to engage Sixth Dawg Club members, alumni and community supporters and friends while helping raise funds to support the women's basketball program in their quest for continued championship success.

The four-person scramble is only $100 per person and includes a post-round reception. Any golfers not in a foursome will be paired with fellow golfers and current Bulldog student-athletes will be on the course for fun games and to interact with participants.

The event begins with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. (ET) and a shotgun start set for 10 a.m. (ET) at Katke Golf Course.

"Our program looks forward to celebrating our 2022 GLIAC Championship with our supporters at this year's Ferris State Women's Basketball Golf Outing," said FSU head coach Kurt Westendorp. "The support we receive through this fundraiser makes it possible for us to provide our student-athletes with their needs to be competitive at a championship level. Our team is looking forward to a fun day of interaction on the course with all of our golfers!"

Additionally, tee sponsorships are available for those individuals or businesses willing to support the program for only $125 and include prominent signage on a tee box and post-round reception recognition. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $475 for those who would like to enter a foursome and support a hole.
