Former prep basketball coach Todd Hamlet embarks on his third season with the Bulldog women's basketball program during the 2019-20 campaign on head coach Kendra Faustin's FSU staff.

Hamlet previously served as a longtime high school girls basketball coach at McBain High School where he was formerly chosen as the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) State Coach of the Year.

While on the prep level, Hamlet coached three daughters, Elizabeth, Annemarie and Meredith, who each went on to play collegiate basketball on the NCAA Division I level at Valparaiso. Under his direction, all three claimed regioanl crowns during their prep career and had success in the state tournament.

Hamlet and his wife, Patti, presently reside in McBain. He will play a key role in many facets of the program, including on-floor coaching and player development.
