Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer program has unveiled its 2025 recruiting class.

The Bulldogs have inked a total of 13 standouts, including 11 incoming freshmen for the fall of 2025 along with a pair of NCAA Division I transfers.

"Our 2025 Recruiting Class is a large group that will provide an immediate impact on the field and add quality depth across all positions on our roster," said FSU head coach Greg Henson. "When you combine this group of talented young players with our strong core of returning players and then add in a couple of veteran transfers, it equals an exciting future for Bulldog Soccer."

Henson's incoming class of freshmen include 10 from the state of Michigan along with one from the Chicago area and three from West Michigan and the Grand Rapids area. Additionally, one of the additions, midfielder Clare Carmody (Romeo) is the younger sister of a current Bulldog player in Reese Carmody.

FSU's two transfers include Oakland University defender Grace Sampson (Lansing) along with Western Michigan defender Cameron Tack (Grand Rapids/Forest Hills Central).

Along with Carmody, the freshmen additions include forward Phoebe DeRoche (Commerce/Walled Lake Western), midfielder Mae Doyle (Grand Rapids/Forest Hills Northern), defender Tessa Grooters (Grand Rapids/Forest Hills Central), defender Lauren McCaul (Commerce Township/Lakeland), goalkeeper Kelly Rodak (Flat Rock/Airport), forward Maurine Schneider (Grand Rapids/Catholic Central), forward Emmy Teolis (Rochester Hills/Notre Dame Prep), midfielder Francesca Trippiedi (Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South), defender Olivia Wells (White Lake/Lakeland) and midfielder Georgia Wilhelm (Ann Arbor/Pioneer).

The Bulldogs closed the 2024 season with an 8-7-4 overall record. Overall, the Bulldogs also made their 17th conference tournament in program history and celebrated the 25th anniversary of the program this past fall.

Since Henson's arrival, the Bulldogs have claimed the program's first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) regular-season title, first league tournament championship, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to the national semifinals for the first time in school history.

FSU is slated to open the 2025 campaign in late August.
