Women's Tennis Wraps Up Homestand With Third-Straight Victory

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team wrapped up a three-match weekend homestand in impressive fashion as the Bulldogs stormed past Lake Superior State 7-2 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Saturday (Sept. 21) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.

The win was the third in a row for the Bulldogs over a three-day span in Big Rapids.

FSU captured two of the three doubles flights to build a 2-1 lead heading into the singles round and then claimed five of the six singles positions in earning the win.

Ferris State improved to 6-4 overall and in the GLIAC with the victory.

The Bulldogs are next back in action on Oct. 4-6 at the Warhawk Fall Invitational.
