Women's Tennis Opens Action At ITA Regional Championships In Midland
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team officially opened its season on Friday (Sept. 22) as the Bulldogs took part in day one action at the 2017 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Northwood University.
FSU's Nicole Meylor won her opening round match before falling in the second round.
She also teamed up with Silvia Verebes in doubles play to win their first match by a 8-4 score before falling in the round of 16.
Action continues at the ITA Regional Championships with day two competition on Saturday (Sept. 23) in Midland.
