Ferris State Home Tennis Schedule Adjusted For This Weekend

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's tennis schedule for this weekend has been adjusted with both squads slated to play a pair of home matches at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs were scheduled to face Davenport on Friday and Purdue Northwest on Saturday in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play, but the dates have been pushed back a day with FSU now hosting DU on Saturday (April 10) and Purdue Northwest on Sunday (April 11).

On Saturday, the Bulldog women's squad will square off against the Panthers starting at 10 a.m. (ET) with the men taking on Davenport beginning at 2:30 p.m. (ET).

FSU will then host Purdue Northwest on Sunday beginning with women's action at 2 p.m. (ET) and the men at 6 p.m. (ET).

The Bulldog women's squad is currently 7-1 overall this year and one of only three remaining unbeaten teams in GLIAC play at 2-0 in the conference. Meanwhile, the men's team is off to a perfect 8-0 start and is midst a three-way tie atop the league standings at 3-0 overall in the GLIAC.

Both Ferris State teams were also ranked fourth in the Midwest Region in the most recent Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) D2 Rankings with the women's team ranked 24th nationally and the men listed among other schools receiving votes just outside the top 25.
