2015 Season (R-Junior): Played in 31 matches as a setter, helped Bulldogs to 2015 GLIAC regular season and tournament championships, as well as an NCAA Tournament Regional Final appearance. Finished with 10 or more assists in three matches, had season-high 15 on 9/4 in 3-1 victory over Missouri Western State. Had 10 in 3-0 win at Malone on 9/26. Finished with 11 vs. Ohio Valley on 10/16 in 3-0 win. Had a season-high two service aces against Rockhurst in NCAA Regional Final match.

2014 Season (Sophomore): Co-Recipient of The Coaches Award at the team’s postseason banquet…Appeared in 20 matches and 35 sets during her redshirt-sophomore season, helping the team to the 2014 GLIAC Championship and an NCAA Tournament bid …Totaled 18 digs and three service aces during the 2014 season.

2013 Season (Freshman): Helped to capture the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championship and advance to the NCAA Elite Eight . . . Appeared in 12 total matches as a reserve . . . Saw action in 17 total sets . . . Finished with 11 assists, eight digs and two kills on the season.

2012 Season (Freshman): 
Redshirted.

Prior To Ferris State: Wrapped up her prep senior campaign at Charlevoix High School and is a four-time all-state honoree . . . Continues a longstanding family tradition at Ferris State.  She is the granddaughter of former FSU Athletic Director and Bulldog Athletics Hall of Fame member Dean Davenport.  Her mother, Chris, was a two-sport varsity athlete at Ferris State and later served as a volunteer assistant coach in the FSU program before becoming head volleyball coach at fellow Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) member Michigan Tech from 1981-84 . . . Additionally, her uncle Terry designed the current Bulldog mascot logo as a Ferris State student in the 1980's and her aunt, Jodi, was a tennis player and captain of the first Ferris Pom Pom squad . . . A four-year starting setter, Way served as a team captain for three-straight seasons and was both a four-time all-conference and all-region selection . . . She also attained all-region dream team accolades throughout her prep career . . . As a senior, she led the Rayders to the program's first-ever regional crown and a trip to the state semifinals . . . Her older sister, Sumer, played volleyball for four years in the GLIAC at Hillsdale College while her other sister, Aubrey, was the first-ever Charlevoix High School graduate to move on to collegiate volleyball when she played at Cornerstone . . . In her prep career, she attained all-tournament team recognition more than 10 times and played nearly every minute of every match over her four years except for a single play in one game as a senior . . . Holds virtually every Charlevoix setting record . . . The two-time first team all-state recipient also competed in tennis, track and basketball.
