Bio

Tim Glover has been a certified athletic assistant trainer at Ferris State for 19 years and begins his 15th year as the athletic trainer for the Bulldogs' NCAA Division I men's ice hockey program in 2017-18. He also serves as the athletic trainer for the FSU women's soccer and softball teams while assisting with football.

Along with his sports medicine responsibilities, Glover has previously served as the athletics weight room coordinator and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He's also been responsible for coordinating the bidding, purchasing and inventory of all supplies.

Glover also served in an interim capacity for one year (2002-03) as the athletics department's compliance coordinator. He holds membership in the National Athletic Training Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

A native of Eastpointe, Mich., Glover began his duties at Ferris State in August 1998. Prior to FSU, he held a graduate assistant position at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind., where he assisted with the Sycamores' football program. Glover went on to receive a Master's Degree from ISU in 1998 while conducting research on the popular athletic supplement creatine monohydrate.

Glover, who graduated from Ferris State in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in applied biology, served as a student assistant athletic trainer at FSU for two years (1993-95). Following graduation, he accepted an athletic trainer post with a local physical therapy clinic while serving as the head athletic trainer for Big Rapids (Mich.) High School.

In the summer of 2007, Glover completed the coast-to-coast Cross Country Challenge 2007 through America By Bicycle to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. He also recently completed the 2017 Tour Divide from Canada to the Mexico border.

A 1989 graduate of East Detroit (Mich.) High School, Glover lettered in football as a prepster.

Born in Warren, Mich., Glover is the eldest son of Joe and Judy Glover.

He's single and resides in Big Rapids. His interests include cycling, mountain biking, hiking, reading, and traveling.
