Ferris State Scores Non-League Road Win At Grace On Saturday

Big Rapids, Mich. - The nationally-ranked Ferris State University men's tennis squad earned a 5-2 non-league road win over Grace College on Saturday (March 18) in Indiana.

The Bulldogs jumped in front by notching the early point in the doubles round, claiming two of the three flights in the round.

Ferris State then came back in singles action and won four of the six flights. Three of the six singles spots were determined in three sets.

FSU improved to 8-3 overall this season with the win, which was the Bulldogs' second-straight of the season. The Bulldogs are currently ranked 26th nationally, but were listed 11th in the country prior to last week's spring break trip to Florida.

Ferris State will open GLIAC play at home on Friday, March 24, with a 10 a.m. (ET) league encounter against nationally 28th-ranked Wayne State at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center. WSU was 13th in the nation only two weeks ago.
