Two Bulldog Throwers Compete In GVSU Last Chance Meet In Allendale

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's track and field squads had a pair of competitors compete on Tuesday (May 10) at the Grand Valley State Last Chance Meet in Allendale.

The event gave competitors one final opportunity to reach potential NCAA provisional or automatic qualifying standards for the national championships, which will also be hosted by GVSU later in May.

FSU's Brianna Copley took ninth place overall in the discus throw with a toss of 42.61 meters (139-9) at Tuesday's competition.

Meanwhile, Kyle Droulliard came in 12th in the men's hammer throw with a performance of 44.72 meters (146-9).

Copley has already qualified for the NCAA D2 National Championships as a provisional qualifier in the discus throw this year.
