Ferris State's Kamryn Shannon Earns GLIAC Golfer Of Week Honor For Second-Straight Time

Big Rapids, Mich. - For the second consecutive week, Ferris State University standout Kamryn Shannon has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golfer of the Week.

Shannon led the Bulldogs to a strong finish in the NC4K Classic, which took place on Monday and Tuesday (April 8-9) at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Ohio.

The FSU golfer climbed up the leaderboard to seventh overall individually with a two-round 150 total. She shot a 79 in round one before coming back with a 71 in the final round. Her play helped the Bulldogs move into third-place overall in the 14-team field.

The Bulldogs will next take part in the GLIAC Women's Golf Championships set for April 19-21 in Augusta, Mich.
