#4 Bulldogs Battle to 0-0 Tie With Findlay In First Road Tilt Of The Season

Findlay, Ohio - The nationally fourth-ranked Ferris State University women's soccer team traveled to Findlay for its first road contest of the year on Friday (Sept. 8), resulting in a 0-0 tie.

The Bulldogs (2-0-1) played a stellar defensive contest and junior goalkeeper Darya Mosallaei earned her second shutout of the young season in as many starts. She faced five shots on goal from the Oilers and stopped them all.

However, FSU recorded only two shots on goal in the outing. The Bulldogs attempted eight as compared to the 13 by Findlay. Senior forward Payton Price led the team with three shot attempts followed by freshman forward Katherine Welch with two.

Both teams attempted two corner kicks. Ferris State commited 15 fouls compared to 12 for Findlay.

The Bulldogs will again be on the road Sunday, Sept. 10, as FSU faces nationally-ranked Ashland at 2 p.m. (ET).
