Bulldog Soccer Battles to 0-0 Tie with Wisconsin-Parkside

Kenosha, Wisc. – The Ferris State University women's soccer team traveled to Wisconsin-Parkside for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) contest with the Rangers and tied 0-0 on Sunday (Oct. 1).

The Bulldogs (3-4-3) got another shutout from junior goalkeeper Darya Mosallaei, her fourth of the season. She made four saves in the outing.

Senior Payton Price had a great opportunity to score the only goal of the game with less than a minute on the clock. She took a pass from Ella Wolf and got behind the Rangers' defense. Her shot went just over the crossbar, and time expired.

FSU had eight shots on goal with 14 total attempts. Parkside had 15 shots, four of which were on target. Corner kicks favored the Bulldogs three to two. Ferris State also was called for offsides 10 times.

The Bulldogs will be back in action next weekend in Big Rapids for a GLIAC matchup with Saginaw Valley State on Friday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. (ET).
