Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's soccer team returned home to Big Rapids to face the Cardinals of Saginaw Valley State and fell 3-0 Friday (Oct. 6).

SVSU started the scoring at 7:30 of the first half. Madi Bajis took a pass from Stephanie Strong and tallied the first goal of the game. The Cardinals went on to score again in the first half at 29:05, thanks to Sarah Frederick's fifth goal of the campaign. FSU went into the half trailing 2-0.

However, it was the Cardinals who scored the lone goal of the half at 62:46 when Solana Kelly beat FSU's goalkeeper, Darya Mosallaei, for the Cardinals' third goal of the afternoon.

In the loss, FSU attempted eight corner kicks compared to five for SVSU. Mosallaei made four saves.
